If you are interested in going back to work but are afraid of losing your Social Security benefits, our vocational team can help. Call Lisa McInerney or Dave Bérube for an appointment about how you can go back to work and still maintain your benefits.
Social Security wants to help people go back to work and has several work incentives in place to help you do that. It does not matter if you are on Disability (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI), there is a plan to help you. Even if you get to a point where your cash benefits are suspended because you make too much money, you will keep your medical insurance. They have also made it easy to once again get back on benefits if you find you are not able to work.
